Not entirely easy to understand in the overall layout of the hotel (only advantageously had a floor plan easily visible). Citybox Oslo accepts these cards and reserves the right to temporarily hold an amount prior to arrival. Also, I was not a fan of the odor being used in the bathroom and towels but that might come to personal experience. Plug socket either side of the bed which is great as some higher end hotels don't even have this now. Overall the hotel feels a bit sterile and impersonal, partly due to the total lack of presence from the staff if you do not ring the bell yourself, or seek out the counter that is secluded near the entrance. We stayed at City Box for 3 nights and I must say that I am impressed with the cleanliness of the room and the facilities available for use for guests. The only way to cool the room down was to left our windows open all night, which on other hotel stays would not be a problem.
